Karakura City Arrival

On a roof of one of the many buildings within the Downtown Karakura City, a Senkaimon opens up and out steps a figure wearing a Shihakushō, the standard uniform of the Shinigami with a traditional white haori that has teal trim running around the bottom of it. Exiting with the figure, is a jigokuchō, a solid black butterfly known as a Hell Butterfly. The figure, Byakko Fuyuichiro, the Taichō of Sanbantai is here cause it has been a few years, like a hundred and fifty since he was last here. As he exits the Senkaimon, he looks around as it disappears and he looks down on the city and blinks, "Things have changed greatly since last I was here," he says to himself as he uses Shunpo, Flash Step to leave the roof and arrive on the street.

Thinking, he looks around, and stands off to the side as people walk by and nod to him. He blinks as he looks at this and nods back, a few children run up and wave at him as he looks down at them and smile as they turn and head off, one stopping to turn around and walk back to him, "Are you a shinagamni?" the child asks and Byakko blinks as he kneels down. "Yes," he says simply as he smiles. "I think your friends and parents are waiting for you," he says with a nod towards that direction and the boy turns and heads off, waving. Grinning, Byakko looks and rises and begins to walk. I forgot that people can see us now, he thinks as he heads to see what else has changed over the last century and a half.

From behind an alleyway, hidden within the skyscrapers of this futuristic city, a portal began to open. A door, formed out of reiatsu linked itself into the world of the living. It's doors slowly began to creek open, their henge grinding against each other to form the very nostalgic sound. Footsteps began to echo out from inside, breaking the sense of the blinding light as a shadow emerged from within. A small bit of reiatsu escaped from the figure, giving a breath taken feeling to those who stood just out of the alleyway. The light from the door slowly began to fade as it shut, the pounding of the wood complimenting the mood. Sonomori walked calmly out of the damp alley, his eyes shutting in the light of the overhead sun. As the glare began to calm down, the gaze of his view gave him the feeling of utter change. "My my, this place has changed since I was last here." His arms stretched back with the popping of his shoulders. He let his head wonder from left to right, his senses quickly picking up others around him.

The air around him began to become heavy, his reiatsu pushing it down to his feet in a quick movement of his body. Up into the air his figure went, dissipating in the bathing sunlight. A few miles from where he had stood, the air began to compress from above, his feet touching down on the pavement in what seemed like the blink of an eye. "Yo Byaku!" He called out to his fellow captain, his hands in his pocket as he walked over to him. "Did you get briefed on whats going on outside the city?"

Stopping as he felt the presence of a familiar reiatsu, Byakko turned and saw a fellow Taichō and bowed to him, "I was yes," he says to him. "However due to the amount of time of when I was last here, things have changed and well, I am sort of lost," he adds as he is not one of the best with directions, but he is no Kenpachi. "I take it that you are here as well, Sonomori?" he asks his fellow Taichō as he walks over to him. As he approached, he slowed and spoke to Sonomori. "It appears that there has been a gathering of some Hollows and possible arrancar outside of the field that protects this scity," he says to him.

Thinking, Byakko closes his eyes, "At least that is what I remember," he states as he gestures down the street, "Shall we walk and see what has changed since we were last here, and head to the location of the problem that we were briefed upon?" he asks him as he waits for the mans reply. AS he waits, Byakko knows that there will be trouble, since it is on the outskirts of Karakura City, where the Dome begins and protects those that live within it here.

Downtown was definatly a different place with a familiar sense of freedom. Humans did whatever they wanted inside this town and as long as they stayed here, they would be protected. People just walked around living their lives how they were told to. However, they all knew of the danger that lurked around every corner. The hollows had been gathering outside this place recently and people had become wary of their existence. Hollows killing the living wasn't common, but it wasn't rare either.

The sounds from a roaring engine took into the air. The heat of intense flames shot out from behind a metal contraption that was a car. It was coloured a peculiar red with a really strange build. It was as if it was not really a car and more of a jet with wheels. The two huge engines on the back continued to coarse flames behind it to keep the vehicle stable. This was obviously necessary because the car was driving up the side of a building. Shooting into the air with a series of rolls, the flames created a slight pattern like ribbons. A masculine yell was being drowned out by the roar of the engine as it soared away from the city. As if trying to get everyone attention, the car flipped out of control and made enough noise to put a fog horn to shame.

"Hahahahahahahaha, Aim higher next time though. We can easily break our record if we go fast enough Brethendil"
