In The Aftermath [Protag Organizations/Vanguard meeting]

Slouching in her seat, Norah began to show her attitude towards this meeting, considering that she was the only one in attendance outside of Blackheart being the one that requested the meeting. It was somewhat a joke, in that the recent leader of the Vanguard was killed in cold blood, and yet when an emergency meeting is called, you'd think others would take this seriously, but instead it seemed like a joke to them. Norah was not proud of the fact that this organization was not taking matters seriously. The moon and its debris was falling upon the earth, and yet here is Norah and Blackheart, alone. Seems others would rather slack in their work or sulk at what was lost, rather than looking into the injustices of the world that had befallen then, and this was part of the reason Norah didn't want to share what she had learned previously in her evidence. They wouldn't take matters seriously, even if the suspect himself entered their own compound and started hitting on all the ladies in attendance.

Pulling out a game system, Norah attempted to distract herself. On the outside, she might appear as a jerk and passive aggressive bitch, but in reality, she was hurting. Norah and Azure weren't that close, but Norah had a crush on the man, and he was so noble and kind enough to give her the time of the day occasionally to give her attention. He would talk to her about his dreams and desires, as well as little bits about his family and what he wished for in the world. She would love to hear everything, excited to learn more about her leader and the man she had a slight crush on. Nanashi too seemed to always want to be in attendance whenever Azure was around, and while Norah wouldn't know, it was because Nanashi and Themis would speak together in telepathy, and talk about their goals and plans to return to their Goddesses, and to survive the hell upon the world they currently inhabit. Azure was a man that Norah practically idolized, and now that he wasn't around for her, she felt alone again. First her family is taken from her, and her very life when 3 violent insane women destroyed her home, and now she loses the man she followed because of one man whom she doesn't know of. It was painful to stomach, thus she wished for distractions to keep her mind off things.

Nanashi stood quietly beside Norah as she sat in the chair in the meeting room. The thing is, Norah is the representative in the Vanguard, while Nanashi is her "Zanpaktou Spirit". She is not part of the Vanguard, she works for Norah and exclusively Norah. Thus she was not part of the meeting and found herself not needing to participate. Instead she would remain quiet and focus on the surrounding technology in the room. She wanted to remain focused because she wanted to keep a link with the Vanguard network and follow all the traffic in and out of the organization. What is being said, what is incoming, what is classified, and what is intel? Nanashi, being a networking master, and being with Norah who is the head intel officer, she is capable of hacking into anything within the Vanguard network, this is her home turf after all. While Norah handles the other "Member" within the room, Nanashi will ensure nothing dares attempt to gain access to their classified and encrypted info, as well as see what is being shared.

While Blackheart spoke to Norah, she continued to play her game, not wanting to take part in the encroaching discussion he was practically enforcing upon her. She planned on ignoring him until he asked her what she thought they should do. This was something interesting, because honestly, it somewhat pissed off Norah. She is not in charge of anyone, she is the head intel officer for the Vanguard, and in charge of their networks for their fight against the enemies of Earth. Why business does Norah have in the development of the Vanguard and what direction they should go? Norah isn't a leader, and the fact Blackheart would ask her that was somewhat sickening. Instead Norah was lower her game system and leer over at Blackheart with her very sharp blue eyes. What would look like eyes of passion were instead eyes of heartbreak and loss, as well as anger and frustration, but Norah wouldn't dare present such immature emotions. Instead, Norah only had one response for Blackheart and his somewhat crazy question...

"What should the Vanguard do? Ha, what should we do? Apparently we are part of a joke organization that wouldn't dare take its meetings seriously, in a matter of continuing our success and outreach..."

Norah hopes he got the message. Yes, there should be actions to track down the perpetrator of Azure's murderer, as well as cleaning up and assisting the world that has had to face the collateral of the Moon's destruction, but what can they do when their organization's own leaders and members wont rally to the call of their own duties? They would instead rather be front line heroes for glory, instead of meeting and leading their organization in the wake of such a devastating event. Did Azure select all these people as leaders, because if so, it would be the first demeaning quality of the man Norah respects so much.

After saying what she wanted to, Norah brought her game system back up to her face and continued to play the game that was in her hands. She wanted to remain distracted from the issues that were haunting her mind, and not take part in the potential hell she could emotionally suffer. Instead, she would sit around and await if others show up or not, and only apply her input based off intel or relevant information from the Networks. It was all Norah normally did anyways, as she would only add input relevant to her field. She had no formal battle experience, as well as leadership qualities. It was not her place to make command decisions, instead assist her leadership in making proper decisions based off her knowledge and recommendations...
