(PERKY) Baiseirei is quite notable for her immoveable optimism and calling tough guys by their ridiculous nicknames that she picked herself.

(LUSTY) She is a spirit, so she cannot get any diseases and because of it, she can be free to go guy-chasing (especially the tough-guys that she has favored for,) but what is hard to explain is how she managed being a mother of eight.

(NECESSARY EVIL) Baiseirei is always nice, but sometimes, this perk can turn out to be at other’s expense.

(INTELLECTUAL) She displayed a high degree of logical thinking when elaborating things with theories, but often times, she chose not to explain because it would give her a headache.

(BLUNDERING) She has her share of mistakes, but it is mainly when she in a frequent contemplation of possibly any random things.

(MATERNAL) It comes with being a mother of eight children; Baiseirei treats others with respect and great care, even the ones whom she punished before.

(DOWN-TO-EARTH) Baiseirei does not believe in idealism, she only believed in three rules; spare the weak, kill the stubborn in self-defense and to discipline her subordinates until they learned true strength in odds.

(OPPORTUNIST) Baiseirei is willing to take any opportunity to surprise foes, children, allies, tough-guys and more, but she also takes any opportunity to make the battle easier for herself and her allies.

(SLIGHTLY PARANOID) Baiseirei can suspect many things, but there are very few that she mistrusts; Tina Tal’Vohla was one of them due to Baiseirei’s involvement in attempted genocide of the Tal’Vohla Family with the Shinigami long ago.

Techinques:

Guardian’s Sea: Her respective guardian spirit allowed her affinity in using water-based elements like ice and rain. Since it is a general element, Baiseirei’s magnitude of the ability is weaker compared to those who are focused on one aspect, but it allows her to explore more into the element. She cannot walk on water and breathe underwater are the examples of her inability because of generalization instead of specialization.

One with the Sky: Baiseirei has a natural affinity for air-based elements like wind and lightning. However like Guardian’s Ice, her firepower is limited compared to those who are focused on one aspect of the general element while allowing her to explore more into the element. She cannot fly and walk in the air are the example of her inability from generalizing instead of specializing.

Channeling: It is a basic technique that can be mastered through years of careful discipline in a certain form of martial arts. Few could channel their respective elements without moving at all, but most have to move to keep in control. Baiseirei usually channels air by playing her Ryuteki while dancing if channeling water. Due to her contract with the Guardian Spirit, she has to use Tempest to reset her array of channeling abilities, or she will be stuck on one element that she could use another element.

Tempest: An elemental technique that required a balanced use of air and water. Assuming that the user already has an adequate enough training to control two elements at once, she could wear down anyone caught within it with ice hails, freezing rain, strong, bone-chilling winds and searing hot lightning bolts that periodically occurred within the storm. Considering it as a natural area attack, the user never does have any control over who it will affect and will result in collateral damage, regardless of reasons to use it. However, since water and air are two different elementals, the Tempest Technique can be split into using a more direct attack from the air or water element, but only within one of these elements. If that was the case, the user will have to use Tempest to restore that balance before selected the other element from the selected element, or else the user cannot access the other element at all, even if years has passed. When it comes to casting it, Baiseirei generally stays out of the area before playing a wind-based instrument (though she preferred the Ryuteki, a Japanese flute that gives a ghastly feel to those who heard it.)

Humidity Trap: Another combination attack from water and air. Baiseirei dances in the area and creates heavy humidity within the area she is in. Blatantly, the sign of it coming was the sudden drop in temperature and the wet feeling around the area. When the time is right, Baiseirei touches something metallic and causes a deadly blast of electricity. The result is everyone getting electrocuted, even Baiseirei herself.

CHARGE-UP TIME: 4 posts total by Baiseirei
DURATION: Humidity is 6 posts by Baiseirei while electrocution is instantaneous after Fourth post if Baiseirei chose to use the electric attack.
RECHARGE TIME: 3 threads (due to Baiseirei inevitable injuries from her attack)
TARGET RANGE: Area of an average conference room.
DAMAGE MAGNITUDE: Severe (by electrocution only, humidity is harmless)
HUMIDITY LEVEL: Heavy (doubles the power of electricity)

Magic:

AIR-RELATED
Gust: Baiseirei performs a quick direct attack that knocks down her target with a strong force. Though harmless at first, it can potentially be able to launch lightweight debris that can turn into a lethal projectile.

Swirling Gale: Swirling Gale is Baiseirei’s personal shield against any projectiles except for bakudo and melee attacks by making a small, vertical vortex of wind around her that goes up to a high caliber of force. Although defensive against projectiles at first, after two posts, the Swirling Gale can transform into an anti-melee shield with debri surrounding Baiseirei.

Lightning Bolt: The most powerful attack by Baiseirei as she literally required being in a lightning storm for it to be done. Baiseirei creates a small electrical field around her left hand, when that hand is struck by lightning; Baiseirei channels the lightning through her body and send it out via her right hand in the direction of her target. The attack was extremely quick, but it takes a toll on Baiseirei, making this attack a risky attack that is only could be used if she has to.

Mass Static Field: When in the rain, Baiseirei can create a field that can weaken everyone in the area by minor periodic shocks amplified by the rain. The shocks usually disrupt any concentration (except at a master level,) even herself, but usually, Baiseirei only has to make a disrupting melody for it to be maintain, so her being disrupted by the shock does not affect the maintenance of this attack, but eventually, Baiseirei will have to stop using it due to taking sufficient damage from the shocks.

WATER-RELATED

Water Bullets: Basically, Baiseirei channels the water into a barrage of miniature projectiles that can cause nasty bruises and injuries in the area with strings of mini-projectiles created by her dancing. It is cost effective and was Baiseirei’s favorite since it can change damage properties when heated by a heat source or frozen by winter. All she would need is water at least the amount of one cup. It also works with objects containing water like soda pop.

Oceanic Barrier: A thick barrier of flowing water that is capable of deflecting projectiles and resisting strong melee attacks due to the properties allowing it to stop a .50 Caliber Bullet from a .50 Caliber Sniper Rifle. It required a high amount of water and a high amount of concentration and endurance to keep it maintained. Otherwise, it would collapse in one strike from a shikai-form Zanpakutō.

Winter Wasteland: Baiseirei dances and freezes the damp ground around her, causing the battlefield to be slick an unsuitable for speed-based and power-based attacks. Due to long years of training, Baiseirei can dance on ice for sometime before she was affected by an outside force like a projectile. After being disrupted, the ice field remains, but without maintenance, it will melt away.

Ice Warrior: Baiseirei manifests weapons and personal armor with pure ice that is usually stronger than steel, providing that she has enough water. The downside is it will cause consistent damage to herself due to being in contact with ice for a prolonged amount of time, so it will not last long with Baiseirei being the user. Due to the flexible properties of water, Baiseirei can even treat it like a living weapon and armor set, making her able to change their shapes, size and parallel properties like sharpness and hardiness. Like other water-based powers, she has to dance, making her a rather graceful warrior by requirement.

Sacred Weapon:

Her Ryuteki, responsible for the ghostly sounds in the wind.

Other Weapons:
Teeth: Baiseirei does bite, so do worry when you accidentally offend her.

Fists and Kicks: It comes natural when she dances, she also performed some forms of martial arts.

Tongue: Who knows what she would do with that?

Joushou:("Ascending") Joushou is the first stage of a Sugiura's power. This is like their Shikai. It is only tapping into a small percentage of their power, exactly 25%. It is mainly the form that they dream of, and it is up to the Guardian beast to decide if the wish is to be granted or not.

Baiseirei becomes more feral as partial parts of her body became animalistic of a bobcat. Her hands and feet became paws, her body gets more flexible, allowing her to be more agile than before while her ryuteki fades into the wind and snow around her, making it hard for minions to withstand being too close to her unless they are protected. Regardless of protection, Baiseirei is inevitably hell bent on surviving while fighting fangs and claws. In this form, she is a living nightmare to weaklings like minor ranked humans.

Zenou: ("Almighty") This form is their version of Bankai. This takes many years to learn, and then many many more to perfect. This is only tapping into 50% of their power. Their speed, strength, stamina, and durability increases quite a bit.

Baiseirei becomes even more animalistic she is restricted to being on four instead of a hybrid of standing on two or four limbs. Her strength is increased substantially while the wind is getting stronger around her, making any attempt to use projectile attacks be half as effective. She can summon a minor storm in this form.

MINOR STORM: Her fury is represented by the storm that appears in the area. Unlike Tempest, it lasts as long as she is in the area and in her Zenou form.

Past & Roleplay Sample

Character Background:

(Shimura’s Third Child)

Baiseirei was born as the third child of Shimura Sugiura and unlike her older sisters; she was often distant from them. Her ears are sharper than sisters’, she was more flexible, she does not have a tail and she barely has anything wolf-like and her reflexes exceed her sisters’. She was described as cat-like and territorial. As a child, she would never let any of her family members in her room or near her while her eldest sister, Misaiko knew that even if she was raised well, she would be hard to build a relationship with her feral attitude that is hard to solve. One day, Shimura tried to tame Baiseirei, but was bitten before Baiseirei wreck her room and fled. Her room looks like it was hit by a windstorm with heavy rain.

(Time Away)

After fleeing from her home, Baiseirei followed her instincts and roamed the land like a queen in her own world. However, her freedom came with a price; she was hunted and many times escaped capture. Even when Misaiko tried, Baiseirei eluded her as quickly as Misaiko managed to catch her. Worse of all, Baiseirei manages to enter the Soul Society and caused trouble within its wall. Shinigami recruits tried and failed and the captains are frustrated. Shimura returned to the Seireitei to help the Shinigami catch Baiseirei before she could cause any serious damages. After a few hours of chasing Baiseirei, Shimura discovered one person who stopped her...with his head. Kenpachi Zaraki, Captain of Squad Eleven head-butted Baiseirei on the head before she could get by him, causing Baiseirei to fall unconscious. Shimura took Baiseirei back home and went through arduous reprogramming so Baiseirei would not do that again.

(A Changed Woman)

After her recovery, Misaiko and Takuri were surprised when Baiseirei began to accept them close to her and be more civilized. But the celebration was short-lived as Baiseirei disappeared again, but this time, into Earth. She made occasional visits to the Sugiura Castle and met many love interests. However, her latest was her late lover, Frederick Tal’Vohla, whom Baiseirei bore her eighth child from. However, Frederick was the first she had to kill due to a betrayal when Frederick tried to use his magic to control her while she was carrying his child, but failed fatally. Ever since that betrayal, Baiseirei returned to the Sugiura Castle and made it the home for her and her eight children. Seven are already in their teens in spirit years while her youngest was only a baby still under her and her sister’s care. She still chases tough guys, but she has a loathing for Tal’Vohlan as she was the reason that Misaiko knew so much about them.

Roleplay Sample: (Note, Frederick is speaking in German, but it is translated)

(Frederick) “We, the Tal’Vohla do live longer, so our youthfulness remained even though mortal men wither away like your past lovers, Bai.”

The air was thin around Baiseirei as she struggled to block out the squealing that made it hard for her to think without the voices of suggestions trying to substitute itself into her mentality. Baiseirei was frozen in her tracks as she calmly tried to force her own ideas into her motives.

How...obey...no...stand by...no...I must...yes...I must...Bai...stay with me...please...

Baiseirei puts her hand on her baby bulge while lowering to her knees. Frederick slowly became the only person in her existence as the red mark on her left temple was the cause of it. The Tal’Vohlan tapped it onto her left temple while she was not looking...during that kiss...Why was the love he gave her was false all along? His son lured her with his promises and Frederick only played her heart by acting tough and done that so well. Now she has his child growing within her, Frederick thought Baiseirei would falter her mental resistances. He was right...Tal’Vohlan are bastards...she should have listened to that paranoid Shinigami about Tal’Vohlan being able to control spirits...

Suddenly, a Shinigami and his squad burst through the door and broke Frederick’s concentration. Frederick ran while the newly freed Baiseirei chased him in her rage. It was raining and storming with lightning bolts.

(Baiseirei) “Frederick! This is far enough! Surrender and let them take you in for sentencing! No! Don’t do that!”

Fear crawled up Baiseirei’s spine as Frederick raises his staff to summon a diagram. Coincidentally, Baiseirei was about to be hit by lightning. She caught the lightning with her right fingers and blocked it with reishi, keeping it from hurting the unborn at the cost of injuring her arm severely. However, the deed is finished; the lightning bolt she redirected went through the diagram and flung Frederick ten feet away while bursting into flames. Frederick died of electrocution and his corpse was burnt to ashes. The adrenaline coursed through her heart as the air was still thin around her. Baiseirei fell onto her right knee and grasped her singed arm as the Shinigami came to her. Baiseirei was escorted to the Fourth Division Treatment Center for recovery and later on was escorted by a Sugiuran back to her new home, the Sugiura Castle...where her sisters are waiting for her. But the knowledge that she is responsible for the man’s death, she feared that it will come back to haunt her.
