The Beast Of Karakura took a glance in the direction of Yuel as his glowing gold eyes observed her questionable response toward the name he purposes. Was it the most creative thing to ever grace this earth? Perhaps not. Shadin never really considered himself a creative and grew quite mechanical in thinking as his mind merged further with The Yuudeshi Network. Yet, even with that being the case, to him the name didn't matter. These were all things that could be worked on and he'd express these thoughts to her aloud as he began to speak up.

"Yeah, the name is rough, but we need something to signify the merger between our collective groups. If you have anything better to input, I'm all ears as I trust you."

Shadin spoke clearly and confidently in the way his stern words came off. As behind everything that he uttered, it seemed as if he had an honest belief that he could rely upon his ally if she were to be bothered following him into this abysmal meeting in a circumstance which is most uncomfortable for her. And hearing the way in which she spoke about the long-term game made him further assured of that fact. As The Beast Of Karakura nodded his head in agreement with most of what Yuel spoke of at this point.

Thus, not having anything to contend with when it came to Yuel's summarization of the road ahead, the questionable factor in the room had been The Martian himself lingering in the room. It seemed as if most were on board for this union to take place so that there could be another superpower in this world trying to turn the earth in a better direction. So it was nothing but a sense of relief that could be spread through Shadin's body as it appeared that he was on board as well.

Of course -- this agreement came with a question.

There was always the threat of having ideological battles take place when two groups became one. So, this caused Shadin to pause briefly before he came up with a response to the concerns that Valentine had for him.

"We don't have the luxury for ideology fights. There will be a minority of people who may have issues, as with any change in existence, but they can be managed by making them aware of the bigger picture: either we join forces or we become extinct in the coming war."

There was not a single bit of hesitation in anything that Shadin stated aloud. He had lived through one world war and remembered all of the world's forces being burned utterly to the ground as the sense of order and balance was scorched to the ground. If they were not united and another World War were to break out, then he knew from experience they'd be nothing more than a mention in a history book when this was all said and done.

"So because of that, I don't think people will fight among each other when we have a greater common enemy and threat above us. Perhaps there may be greater battles after this is over with, but I have the belief that these differences can be worked on as we work alongside each other. Never underestimate the power of bonding with your allies; it's all we have as a tribal people, at least, to us humans, anyway."

Now having addressed Valentines concerns, The Beast of Karakura would then take a soft sigh before turning toward Yuel.

"And with that said, can we make this fully greenlit? I'm certain the logistical, political and detailed management of this merger will take days or weeks to iron out, but I'm sure we all want this and I'm ready to address such a thing to the public if we are."

With that question posed to all those remaining in the room, it would be up to the last remaining characters of this meeting to determine the course of history to come. Either they could choose to join up with this merged orgnazation, or they could be footnotes in history when it's all burned to the ground with the upcoming war. That was the only road which Shadin saw based on the actions that either of their orgs were to take moving forward from this point onward because of how grim the global state of affairs were becoming with each passing day.

The small wave from the white haired man put her off even more than the bird. He was a pretty boy, largely in line with her tastes, but the smile and wave enabled her mind to form some wild narratives, most of them pinning him as a weirdo who tried to entice girls with his friendly charm and aesthetic charisma, before eating them alive or something. Of course, it was all just wild thoughts rampaging around in her head, reigned in once she caught herself in a daydream. In a way, the amusingly ludicrous thought put her at ease.

But the bird... it just wouldn't stop looking at her. Now Yuel was convinced, the bird was watching, not looking. She then started thinking about conspiracy theories, such as the bird watching and studying her figure, so as to emulate and turn into some doppelganger and enter the lives of her friends as her replacement. She'd be kidnapped, taken away, and forced to watch as this random entity started living her life. She snapped out of it soon enough, but, in her usual quirky ways, Yuel straightened her posture and stayed as still as possible. Maybe if she didn't let out any of her idiosyncratic body-language, the bird wouldn't be able to accrue any decent data.

The only time this wasn't the case was when Yuel started speaking, such as with Valentine's comment or Shadin's question. As for Shadin's question on the name, Yuel started mulling over some options. All the representatives in the meeting were of some authority in their respective organisations, if not the top authorities, so while the name was of lesser priority, it would be convenient to discuss it now.

"Uhh, let's just get the other topics out of the way, first. We can come to a decision on the name towards the end."

When it came to Valentine's concern, Yuel wasn't fond. If it weren't for the bird constantly eyeing her, she would've let out a small frown. It seemed poorly phrased, or maybe the phrasing wasn't the issue, it was just the question in general. Yuel found it, er, retarded, in a sense. Didn't she just explain why ideologies were less of a priority in the face of sustainability? If it were the old Yuel, she might blurt out some condescending snark, but the girl had grown a bit. Maybe the Vanguard representative had some reason for asking a redundant question. Maybe it'd lead up to another question? Maybe he's playing devil's advocate? Maybe he really is reta--nonono, patience is supposed to be virtue. Buddha said that patience and tolerance is key, and the current setting was a very important diplomatic meeting.

It was fortunate that Yuel held her tongue, because Shadin did the work in explaining why the question was mostly a non-issue. Thinking, Grandpa Shadin has his moments, I suppose," Yuel internally smiled, proud of Shadin's words, particularly proud of his "human" comments. For some reason, Yuel felt like her being proud of being human was a feeling she could hold for a limited time, so, might as well feel proud of it now. Of course, the smile would be fully external if it, again, weren't for the bird.

Finally, it seemed the most important decision was coming to a close; after this would just be some minor points to discuss, which could be handled thoughout the--Oh, he's literally just saying everything I'm thinking. Okay, cool. Glad we're keeping everything brief.

"Well, provided everyone else here agrees to the merger, we should be good to go? As for the logistics, some of it can be taken care of over the days, some of it should be discussed now while we have all of us here, as that'll be more convenient. For the most part, though, this meeting could be closing up."

Valentine

“I, for one, have no further pressing concerns. I’ve little doubt that other questions might arise as we finalize this, but let’s focus on one thing at a time, hm? If there is nothing else we feel needs discussion, then as Miss Duulheim has said, it would be best for us to adjourn for now. No sense in prolonging this, I’m sure all of us have things we’ll need to be addressing in order to prepare for this change.”

Resting his head atop his hands, Valentine looked across the table to his new comrades in arms. He was still thoroughly convinced that this would perhaps be a rockier shift than they were expecting, but if it wasn’t, he would call that a pleasant surprise. There was no need for him to ask any more rhetorical questions, as he had every confidence that Yuel and Shadin, at least, would be competent enough to handle this alongside him.

There was something incredibly amusing about Miss Duulheim’s shift in behavior after his wave, and he idly kept his avian companion watching her throughout his brief little spiel. The creature ruffled its feathers a bit, chirping once or twice in Yuel’s direction, and Valentine gave the little creature a small pet on its head as if to calm it down. Of course, that was all an act, for its every action was functionally within Valentine’s control.

“So, let us all part from this meeting knowing we will be seeing each other again in short order, hm? I, personally, am all too happy for whatever might come as a part of this union.”

As Valentine stood, the bird chirped once more, and he laughed quietly as he gave it another pet on the head, looking to Shadin and Yuel with his smile as wide as ever. It fluttered from his shoulder onto the table in the center of the room, and cocked its head to the side as it looked between its new allies. After a moment or two, it chirped once more, bobbing its head as if in approval, and flew back to its perch upon Valentine.

“It would seem my little friend here is as excited for the future as I am. Well, until we meet again, then~”

With a farewell in a singsong voice, and a bow to the others, Valentine made his way out, already planning in his mind all manner of frameworks to be made by outsourcing the logistics to the Collective. This would be a fairly grand undertaking, for sure, but hardly something outside the purview of himself or the rest of Mars. Or, for that matter, his new allies.
