When an Angry Person is Angry

Pet. That caused her to flinch a bit, but what could she do about it but leave and face the world? She knows she can't survive out there with how she is. This confrontation right now proves such. If she got this mad with Ulv and stood up to her to this extent, then, what about someone other than Ulv who holds the same amount of power? No doubt, she'd do something that would have her dead or locked away forever. She already has! Her teeth do grit, and her face does start to turn red from the name, but she simply nods and sighs.

"I just need to think a bit. I will be ready to head out when the time comes."

'One day...' She hears her mind mutter; a small push; a drive growing in her to no longer be referred to as pet. Even if such a title causes her to feel a bit warm on the inside, she will have Ulv call her by her name one day. That is a guarantee. It will be a long road. No doubt, Ulv will make it near unbearable, but Elyss is already determined to face this challenge head on. Ulv said she'd help her; make her stronger, and even though she's a strange woman, Elyss cannot help but trust her. There is just something there that makes her feel safe around the brute despite how she treats her; a connection that is impossible to fully ignore.

With a bow of her head, Elyss turns and exits from Ulv's sight heading to her room to lie down and think and prepare. This outing is surely going to be just as embarrassing as the last. She will survive though. She will control herself though.
