Four-Faced Song: Summer's Solstice [Makoto, Solo].

“You said that these swords are as heavy as their wielder’s heart, right?”

Makoto mused at the spirit, growing more sure of herself as the blade came out of the ground and she stood up to her full height. Red eyes were amused at the woman’s arrogance turning against her while the vice-captain brought the blade to the spirit’s neck and held it there while waiting for it to concede.

There weren't the worries of losing, winning, success or failure on her mind at the moment. Her mind was calm and her heart was resolved. It was a serene kind of emptiness where she wasn’t riddled with doubts or fears, she was free of loathing and hatred, there was just this moment which seemed to go on forever and she liked it, it was like when she was with Shishiyuki.

“Hmph. I suppose she wins, I concede but don’t think that Kamecchi will go easy on you, Master. You might think you’re tough but we’re not to be underestimated.”

She let go of the sword and went back to hovering in the air. A little pouty at the fact that she’d lost the bout and didn’t get to send her off the top of the mountain. The chains at her ankles made some jingling before the spirit turned away and sighed.

“Stop getting so antsy! I’m coming, gosh all of you are so annoying! If you don’t shut it I’ll- Hey!”

The chains glowed a little and she became wrapped in red wispy energy, disappearing in the midst of bickering at the “others”. Clearly not exactly thrilled at the idea of returning to their proper form.
