Demon Slayer Combat: When there are styles in combat by different kinds of fighters like the Super Humans, the Quincy and the Shinigami, the Demon Slayer’s style more geared to the “Strike Fast and Hard” aspect when the Quincy generally would choose the style of “Strike Fast and Plenty.” While the Quincy would keep their distance to have the advantage, the Demon Slayers have the advantage being up-close and personal, but they can still choose to use ranged attacks; usually, their ranged weapons will not exceed far distances due to three factors; high weight, clumsy design and lack of balance. It is usually depending on what the demon is that the Demon Slayer will use different styles branching out from their core “Strike Fast and Hard” style; overall, they are the only ones who have consistently and significantly higher chance of overcoming demon attacks/spells than other humans and their Quincy counterpart. With their long term training in using demonic weapons or exotic bone weapons, the Demon Slayers are capable of unlocking secret abilities of demon weapons earlier than most races could. On a deep level of this talent, this talent allows the Demon Slayers to combat Demons, Arrancar, Xeno Hollows, and regular Hollows as well as resist them at an earlier tier level. The higher their skills in combating non-human/shinigami enemies, the better they can deal any effects to non-human/shinigami enemies that are generally stronger than they are; a grand master can fight against non-human/shinigami enemies without any deduction due to differences in strength. Only the Master Demon Slayer can achieve Grand Master in any of the Demon Slayer skills.

Way of the Demon: Historically, the Way of the Demon (or “Kidō” to the Shinigami) is originally taught by the Shinigami as a risky way to prepare the original eight Frankish Demon Slayers for the time their people are being attacked by demons while the Shinigami would not be available to help them. The only known evidence that these eight people can use this form of magic was because of their very rare connection to the spiritual realm known to the Shinigami as the Soul Society. However, the problem with achieving it is the differences in the rules; while the Shinigami can easily call out the spell as they are with practice, the Demon Slayers have to use incantations in order to use the spell at half the strength than it takes for a Shinigami to do so at full strength. Fortunately, as humans are quick to learn, the Demon Slayers learned of the two styles branching off from the base; the Way of Destruction and the Way of Binding. But at the time, their knowledge of it was very limited. With higher level of Way of the Demon skill, the Demon Slayer can make the uses closer to full strength, but a grand master can use the Way of the Demon at full strength. Only the Master Demon Slayer can achieve Grand Master in any of the Demon Slayer skills.

Demon Slayer Training: While combat of the Demon Slayer is how well they can fight against stronger demons or hollows, their training is how fast, enduring, strong and hard they can be. Usually athletes perform training that would limit the danger level so the athlete would not suffer before their competition; Demon Slayers trained in harsh levels of combat situations as their battle training usually consisted of three activities. Open-field combat where all battle each other from all directions with heavy wooden weapons and only stop when only one is left standing; side-line exercises with natural weights and grounds while they are either naked or in their underwear (added during the year 2400;) and crafts, which unlike the casual forging and woodworking, involves making tools from demon bones, hollow bones, concoctions and all sorts of handcrafted devices used to aid in killing hollows and demons. Despite the dangers, the Demon Slayers are reputed only in the western nations to be the ones who are required to kill their own as they achieved extraordinary feats like surviving bullet wounds, diseases and poisons by trained tolerances, endurance and instinctive insights. The better they are with their training, the better chance they will have in overcoming physical feats like surviving what would normally kill any human; grand-masters can sustain heavy wounds, but can fight like it never happened. Only the Master Demon Slayer can achieve Grand Master in any of the Demon Slayer skills.

While Quincy is based on the spell-like aspect, the Demon Slayers are more focused on the immediate effects of physical means. The simplest of them was the silver bolt which they can launch from their wrist launcher while the most complex was the ripping chain, which was two steel balls linked together with thirty feet of intricately barbed, diamond shaped chain links used to lacerate an ensnared enemy should they struggle and to disarm them of their weapon. With better practice with the techniques involved, the less material will be needed and the better the tools will be; grand masters can craft the tools and customize it to outfit the situation, even on field. Only the Master Demon Slayer can achieve Grand Master in any of the Demon Slayer skills.

Example: A Demon Slayer who has the defiance against “Pain,” the Demon Slayer can ignore an extreme amount of pain and as though it would seem he is immune or invincible, he still has a breaking point where he will fall over and succumb to his pain if he survived long enough to face it.

Flash-Dress: Upon acquisition of any demonic armor, the Demon Slayer is granted the ability to switch out armors and weapons in a mere instant like a Shinigami when it comes to Flash-Stepping. Depending on how strong the Demon Slayer’s focus, they can potentially switch out their equipments in and out of battle frequently. Not only it needs focus for the change to work, it also requires practice, so the more often the skill is used; the faster and more frequently the switching will be at general circumstances. The reason for it to be hard to keep a focus after a switch off is when the Demon Slayer has to quickly readjust themselves to outfit their body for the armor, which is manageable outside of a battle, but in it will make the battle more interesting if more dangerous. Even a hardy adept in this technique will have a momentary pause after changing because they are momentarily stunned from the change in weight, balance and handling; the extreme example of producing that effect will be changing from a light weight into a heavy weight or vice versa in an instant while moving around, which normally would force a beginner to stop for a brief moment.

DEMONIC ARMORS
Generally, Demon Slayers would not have them at the start as they are usually in handcrafted armors to keep them from getting badly beaten too early. However, a successful Demon Slayer would inherit one demon armor set from a powerful demon they defeated. Once they acquired one of them, that is when they are adequate enough to ascend to S-Class, where powerful Demon Slayers stand. On top of that, it is believed that due to acquiring the demon armor, the Demon Slayer is capable of using the neo-mystical ability to make their outfits disappear and appear in a switch. While they called it, “Re-Quip,” the Demon Slayers joked with its name as “Flash-Dress” after its effect to undress and dress up the user in a mere instant like the Flash-Step of the Shinigami. The general concept of it is that if you want more physical capability, you have to sacrifice power and if you sacrifice capability, you gain power. So, while lighter armor can give more physical options, but it will have less power and the heavier armor inhibits the physical options, but has more power. The biggest reason that the armor itself would make the Demon Slayer a S-Class would be the difficulty in awakening its power. Armors do not talk so using the same method from awakening the weapon will not work on the armor. To awaken the armor is to have it sustained enough stress to induce its need to survive. Sometimes, defeating enough enemies would cause the Demon Slayer to “inherit” a demon armor set that was born from their inner-demons that rises during battle, but unlocking powers in these kind of armors will be more difficult because it will only be unlocked by dueling their inner-demon for it.

DEMONIC WEAPONS
Demonic Weapons are like the Demonic Armors, they are only acquired by defeating powerful demons, but they do not contribute to acquiring Flash-Dress and they required a special method of acquisition to being fully available to the user. Like a Shinigami learns the name of their Zanpakutō spirit, the Demon Slayer must learn the name of the demonic weapon in order to make it respond to the owner. However, not all Demon Slayers would have these, but acquiring one of them would boost the rank of the Demon Slayer to Rank A. Another method of acquiring a demon weapon is to have a normal weapon soaked in demon blood for over a day, allowing the weapon to slowly become corrupted in the demon blood; all the time, the finished product results in summoning a demon to challenge the Demon Slayer for the weapon, but once won over, the Demon Slayer can go through the conventional method to unlock its power. Overall, once awakened, the weapon takes permanent form in the likeliness of the ability it possesses.

Dual-Wield (Demonic Weapons): A technique used by advanced Demon Slayers that allows them to use two demonic weapons. Considering it is a required feat to learn before becoming an advanced class (Class A) Demon Slayer, learning to hold two demon weapons without hindrance would prove to be a hard task for those who are not ready. To be deemed ready to learn the skill is to acquire two demon weapons and become able to summon both of them while understanding the harmony between the two weapons. The harmony is when the two demonic weapons create a minor fusion cooperatively as the user arbiters a temporary contract that allows them to work together as two weapons. In some cases, the mediation of the contract takes longer than a minute, but most of the time, it happens quickly with the use of strength as a proving point to the two demonic weapons that the user commands them and not them.

DEMONIC MAGIC (Way of the Demon)
Demon Slayers have limited knowledge of magical spells used by the Shinigami as Kidō. The process makes them forced to abandon the concept of “the evolution of the soul” and “chi,” so they can use it in the battlefield with more versatility than what they believed to be “stuck with a madman’s toy,” in reference on how many humans became crazed or sinister because of their powers and had to be hunted down by them. DEMON SLAYER TOOLS (Demon Slayer Crafts)
Like the Quincy, the Demon Slayers have tools that can aid them in defeating foes that they deemed to be too tough for a direct assault. In the array, they are separated into five categories; Snare, Medical, Lethal, Non-Lethal, and Distraction. The snare tools allow the Demon Slayers to slow or to immobilize targets by either tossing them or by setting them as traps; a ripping chain is classified as a snaring tool because of its primary purpose was to prevent the target from moving further or to prevent them from reaching their goals as it is tossed or whipped at them. Medical tools are the Demon Slayers’ best friends when it comes to even the most fatal of wounds or the most critical of broken bones as they survive their battles; the best example was the hollow salve, which uses the saliva of a hollow to temporarily null the pain while providing a brief moment of regeneration, which helps for dismembered limbs. When the demon is too tough for weapons, the Lethal tools are made for that occasion as they ranged from explosives to deadly dissolvent; the sunburst pouch was the example for its property to ignite itself in direct sunlight and ignite its payload of thermite to cause even the toughest of hides to be destroyed or to become fragile for a next attack. Non-Lethal tools are fewer than the lethal tools, because the Demon Slayers have to kill the demons, but a tactical Demon Slayer resort to these tools for capturing demons for questioning as these tools ranged from stunning, incapacitation and disorientation; sleeping gas (or nulling gas to be exact,) falls into the category for its poisonous property to not kill the target, but to attack the spinal cord and the nervous system, numbing the nerves and relaxing the muscles so the target “falls asleep,” on their own. Distracting tools are mainly used as retreat options or for ambushes as it can divert attention and to render the targets occupied; a banshee arrow is a hollowed out bolt that can be launched from the wrist launcher as it screams loudly across the air to cause the enemies to follow it. Any of the tools can be crafted and dismantled when handled by a Demon Slayer who is familiar with them, thus giving parties a better chance of avoiding confrontations with another Demon Slayer, which most likely becomes a fight to survive.

Her eyes seem long dead, though a flicker with life’s light can shine through the darkness as the glow was merely a reflection of her undying obligation to aid mankind battle the upcoming dark ages. Demon Slayer Combat: When there are styles in combat by different kinds of fighters like the Super Humans, the Quincy and the Shinigami, the Demon Slayer’s style more geared to the “Strike Fast and Hard” aspect when the Quincy generally would choose the style of “Strike Fast and Plenty.” While the Quincy would keep their distance to have the advantage, the Demon Slayers have the advantage being up-close and personal, but they can still choose to use ranged attacks; usually, their ranged weapons will not exceed far distances due to three factors; high weight, clumsy design and lack of balance. It is usually depending on what the demon is that the Demon Slayer will use different styles branching out from their core “Strike Fast and Hard” style; overall, they are the only ones who have consistently and significantly higher chance of overcoming demon attacks/spells than other humans and their Quincy counterpart. With their long term training in using demonic weapons or exotic bone weapons, the Demon Slayers are capable of unlocking secret abilities of demon weapons earlier than most races could. On a deep level of this talent, this talent allows the Demon Slayers to combat Demons, Arrancar, Xeno Hollows, and regular Hollows as well as resist them at an earlier tier level. The higher their skills in combating non-human/shinigami enemies, the better they can deal any effects to non-human/shinigami enemies that are generally stronger than they are; a grand master can fight against non-human/shinigami enemies without any deduction due to differences in strength. Only the Master Demon Slayer can achieve Grand Master in any of the Demon Slayer skills.

Way of the Demon: Historically, the Way of the Demon (or “Kidō” to the Shinigami) is originally taught by the Shinigami as a risky way to prepare the original eight Frankish Demon Slayers for the time their people are being attacked by demons while the Shinigami would not be available to help them. The only known evidence that these eight people can use this form of magic was because of their very rare connection to the spiritual realm known to the Shinigami as the Soul Society. However, the problem with achieving it is the differences in the rules; while the Shinigami can easily call out the spell as they are with practice, the Demon Slayers have to use incantations in order to use the spell at half the strength than it takes for a Shinigami to do so at full strength. Fortunately, as humans are quick to learn, the Demon Slayers learned of the two styles branching off from the base; the Way of Destruction and the Way of Binding. But at the time, their knowledge of it was very limited. With higher level of Way of the Demon skill, the Demon Slayer can make the uses closer to full strength, but a grand master can use the Way of the Demon at full strength. Only the Master Demon Slayer can achieve Grand Master in any of the Demon Slayer skills.

Demon Slayer Training: While combat of the Demon Slayer is how well they can fight against stronger demons or hollows, their training is how fast, enduring, strong and hard they can be. Usually athletes perform training that would limit the danger level so the athlete would not suffer before their competition; Demon Slayers trained in harsh levels of combat situations as their battle training usually consisted of three activities. Open-field combat where all battle each other from all directions with heavy wooden weapons and only stop when only one is left standing; side-line exercises with natural weights and grounds while they are either naked or in their underwear (added during the year 2400;) and crafts, which unlike the casual forging and woodworking, involves making tools from demon bones, hollow bones, concoctions and all sorts of handcrafted devices used to aid in killing hollows and demons. Despite the dangers, the Demon Slayers are reputed only in the western nations to be the ones who are required to kill their own as they achieved extraordinary feats like surviving bullet wounds, diseases and poisons by trained tolerances, endurance and instinctive insights. The better they are with their training, the better chance they will have in overcoming physical feats like surviving what would normally kill any human; grand-masters can sustain heavy wounds, but can fight like it never happened. Only the Master Demon Slayer can achieve Grand Master in any of the Demon Slayer skills.

Demon Slayer Crafts: Like the Quincy, Demon Slayers have tools which they used to weaken or to restrict their foes; to an extreme, few of their tools can potentially kill their foe (the example of it was the Sunburst Pouch, which burns in direct sunlight and ignite Termite, causing molten metal to come down upon the foe’s head and shoulders to incinerate the hardest of hides and potentially burn through their brain, causing fatal liquefaction, but if lucky, it will just render the hardened flesh fragile to direct hits from anything other than what they are immune to.) Through generations of perfection, the Demon Slayers are capable of creating tools more efficiently and use them more effectively by the passing years. While Quincy is based on the spell-like aspect, the Demon Slayers are more focused on the immediate effects of physical means. The simplest of them was the silver bolt which they can launch from their wrist launcher while the most complex was the ripping chain, which was two steel balls linked together with thirty feet of intricately barbed, diamond shaped chain links used to lacerate an ensnared enemy should they struggle and to disarm them of their weapon. With better practice with the techniques involved, the less material will be needed and the better the tools will be; grand masters can craft the tools and customize it to outfit the situation, even on field. Only the Master Demon Slayer can achieve Grand Master in any of the Demon Slayer skills.

Demon Slayer’s Defiance (Death): Before they can become a full-fledge Demon Slayer, the Demon Slayer must go through a rite of passage and discover their defiance. No matter what, the defiance cannot be chosen by anyone other than fate as each Demon Slayer is bound to certain defiance as a mark of ultimate willpower. Some can keep going even though they are restricted or would be incapacitated, while others can become a bane of certain variables like pride and control. Beneficially, the Demon Slayer can ignore that specific trait longer than any other person possible, but even then, they will eventually succumb to the effects when the heightened breaking point is reached. Example: A Demon Slayer who has the defiance against “Pain,” the Demon Slayer can ignore an extreme amount of pain and as though it would seem he is immune or invincible, he still has a breaking point where he will fall over and succumb to his pain if he survived long enough to face it.

Flash-Dress: Upon acquisition of any demonic armor, the Demon Slayer is granted the ability to switch out armors and weapons in a mere instant like a Shinigami when it comes to Flash-Stepping. Depending on how strong the Demon Slayer’s focus, they can potentially switch out their equipment in and out of battle frequently. Not only it needs focus for the change to work, it also requires practice, so the more often the skill is used; the faster and more frequently the switching will be at general circumstances. The reason for it to be hard to keep a focus after a switch off is when the Demon Slayer has to quickly readjust themselves to outfit their body for the armor, which is manageable outside of a battle, but in it will make the battle more interesting if more dangerous. Even a hardy adept in this technique will have a momentary pause after changing because they are momentarily stunned from the change in weight, balance and handling; the extreme example of producing that effect will be changing from a light weight into a heavy weight or vice versa in an instant while moving around, which normally would force a beginner to stop for a brief moment.

Dual-Wield (Demonic Weapons): A technique used by advanced Demon Slayers that allows them to use two demonic weapons. Considering it is a required feat to learn before becoming an advanced class (Class A) Demon Slayer, learning to hold two demon weapons without hindrance would prove to be a hard task for those who are not ready. To be deemed ready to learn the skill is to acquire two demon weapons and become able to summon both of them while understanding the harmony between the two weapons. The harmony is when the two demonic weapons create a minor fusion cooperatively as the user arbiters a temporary contract that allows them to work together as two weapons. In some cases, the mediation of the contract takes longer than a minute, but most of the time, it happens quickly with the use of strength as a proving point to the two demonic weapons that the user commands them and not them.

DEMONIC ARMORS
(Demon Slayer Training)

Generally, Demon Slayers would not have them at the start as they are usually in handcrafted armors to keep them from getting badly beaten too early. However, a successful Demon Slayer would inherit one demon armor set from a powerful demon they defeated. Once they acquired one of them, that is when they are adequate enough to ascend to S-Class, where powerful Demon Slayers stand. On top of that, it is believed that due to acquiring the demon armor, the Demon Slayer is capable of using the neo-mystical ability to make their outfits disappear and appear in a switch. While they called it, “Re-Quip,” the Demon Slayers joked with its name as “Flash-Dress” after its effect to undress and dress up the user in a mere instant like the Flash-Step of the Shinigami. The general concept of it is that if you want more physical capability, you have to sacrifice power and if you sacrifice capability, you gain power. So, while lighter armor can give more physical options, but it will have less power and the heavier armor inhibits the physical options, but has more power. The biggest reason that the armor itself would make the Demon Slayer a S-Class would be the difficulty in awakening its power. Armors do not talk so using the same method from awakening the weapon will not work on the armor. To awaken the armor is to have it sustained enough stress to induce its need to survive. Sometimes, defeating enough enemies would cause the Demon Slayer to “inherit” a demon armor set that was born from their inner-demons that rises during battle, but unlocking powers in these kind of armors will be more difficult because it will only be unlocked by dueling their inner-demon for it.
Beginner = Able to use “Flash-Dress;” Can only use one kind of armor.
Adept = Can use any kind of armor; “Flash-Dress” is available in combat.
Advanced = “Flash Dress” can be used twice within five turns before being momentarily stunned.

DEMONIC WEAPONS
(Demon Slayer Combat)

Demonic Weapons are like the Demonic Armors, they are only acquired by defeating powerful demons, but they do not contribute to acquiring Flash-Dress and they required a special method of acquisition to being fully available to the user. Like a Shinigami learns the name of their Zanpakutō spirit, the Demon Slayer must learn the name of the demonic weapon in order to make it respond to the owner. However, not all Demon Slayers would have these, but acquiring one of them would boost the rank of the Demon Slayer to Class B. Another method of acquiring a demon weapon is to have a normal weapon soaked in demon blood for over a day, allowing the weapon to slowly become corrupted in the demon blood; all the time, the finished product results in summoning a demon to challenge the Demon Slayer for the weapon, but once won over, the Demon Slayer can go through the conventional method to unlock its power. Overall, once awakened, the weapon takes permanent form in the likeliness of the ability it possesses.
