THE RETURN OF AN ERA

Saisei
発生開始

Snow found its way filling the quiet neighborhood within the housing district of Karakura City, a surprising sight for those that spent little time in the area. Sure, the apartments that scattered the area seemed to be "normal" or "boring", but once the fluffy white snow hits the backdrop of Karakura's structures, something magical happens. Alas, most places share a similar aspect when weather comes in extremes, this didn't keep a young boy from venturing his way to a nearby park as per his daily ritual.

Saisei found himself firmly planted in front of what seemed to be a completely frozen fountain, the thick peacoat he wore holding on for dear life in the gentle, yet chilling breeze. A red nose accompanied the cold boy, his pink hair shifting ever so slightly as he groaned without thought. The snow seemed to cover everything in sight, removing any attempt at finding things in the sheer white. Brushing a small spot from the fountain's rim, he flopped against the frozen metal in an attempt to think.

"The neighborhood dies whenever it gets bad out. You'd think in a city filled with spirits and supernatural beings, they wouldn't be such babies over something like the cold." Despite what seemed to be a strong defense against the cold, Saisei's nose answered in tandem with a loud sneeze, followed by a sniffle that sounded rather depressing. It was obvious that the human child was succumbing to the effects of what was known as a "cold", but that didn't stop him from having his way with the world before him. Rubbing his hands together, he yawned before talking once more.

"Tch. Babies. At least someone is going to take enjoyment in this day." Saisei grinned proudly, standing up once more before digging his feet into the thick snow. Thus began his daily ritual of walking about, hoping to learn something new as per the usual. What was in store however, was quite the odd sight, even for a boy in his very situation.

Iko, the Snow-Throwing Wolf

There was snow. And in that snow, prowled the predator of the tundra, the Snow-Throwing Wolf. It wasn't blizzardy enough to really hide in here, but there were plenty of roof tops and alleyways to scurry in. Also there seemed to be a distinct lack of people to throw snow at, which made hunting a bit lame. However, she did eventually catch one kiddo in her territory, and so the wolf stalked him, surprisingly subtle considering her general outlook and behavior. The hairband around her wrist itched, but The Snow-Throwing Wolf ignored it, it was important, apparently.

Eventually, the kiddo stopped moving, and sat down, which presented the perfect moment. Bunching the snow up into a compact ball, she aimed, and then let loose from the alleyway, the snowball soaring dam quick and would hit like it had been packed with rocks. It hadn't, which would come to light as it dissolved into nothing but snow, but The Snow Throwing Wolf had trouble with restraint, which was why she was wearing the hairband. If the ball hit, which was likely considering it's speed and the kid's lack of knowing the ball was coming, then the Wolf would have a little celebration.

A cheery shout that sounded as much bark as it did laugh. And then it would be followed by an evil laugh.
"BWU-BWU-BWU-BWU! You have been marked by the Snow-Throwing Wolf. This Wolf will throw snow until appeased! Now, flee in fear, or come forth in bravery!" She exclaimed, throwing her head back and letting out another barking laugh. Her tail swished behind her, and she seemed mixed somewhere between having great fun with the snowball, and being deadly serious about exploiting people with snowballs. That was, after all, the girl's whole shtick.

Since Mirja isn't in the Monsuta anymore, this thread holds no value. Gonna have to sadly archive it.
