He died again. The light in his eyes faded and returned like an everyday occurrence. Their fight would continue though. Elyss isn't sure how long they went at it, but she'd find herself taking a knee eventually. Despite her durability, she's not immune to pain, and her body made sure she felt the punishment she made it endure. However, she found the blood painting the grass around her refreshing. How long has it been since she's felt this alive?

"Bwah... I'm pooped," She'd grumble though, hoping Roman's not too bent out of shape after everything. How many lives did he run through just for her? Do they come back? Will he be okay later? She has questions she'd like to ask, but she'll not press him for information. If he was willing to share with her something as precious, then she'll simply respect his decision.

That doesn't stop her from looking up with bloodshot eyes full of concern though. After all, he is her friend.
