Kilik held the hilt of his blade with most of his hand tightly gripped on to it. There were two target dummies that immediately reforms after a cut or when it gets blown up. The two target dummies had this red mark on the center of its chest for kido improvements and black stripes for the blade to cut through exactly. If the blade cuts through the stripes cleanly then it's obvious that the prospect is good with Zanjutsu or the basic swordsmanship. If the prospect shoots a kido exactly on the red mark, then that person might be talented with kido. Sometimes there were cases where people are good at every single subject. He remembered that name who was also one of the captains of Gotei 13; Toushiro Hitsugaya. He aspired at his sight and is planning on at least joining his division when he graduates from the academy. With that in mind, he's trying his best to show off well.

He dashed at the two target dummies and slashed at it. First, he swiped through the first target dummy and hopped onto the second one with the attempt of striking through the stripes neatly. After he did that, he was on the ground with his knee holding him up. He looked back up to see the target dummies to see if he did it. In the end, he was a bit off from the mark. He still tried repeating what he was doing with dedication. Sweat dripping down his forehead, onto his chin, then falling onto the ground. He dropped his zanpakuto as he finalized his stuff then fell on the ground on his butt in exhaustion. He was still able to go on but he thought resting would be best for him. He exhaled deeply then inhaled the same to relax. Hopefully, there might be someone to come and help him out.

Books books and more books, Kurama just somehow couldn't get enough of them. Carrying a stack of at least 7 or 8 books Kurama slightly swayed back and forth heavy from the weight that was in his arms. If he wanted to be in squad 12, there was a lot of work that he needed to get used to doing. He then made a pause as he felt some very strong reitsu.

Turning he saw a young boy training, he dashed at the two target dummies and slashed at it. First, he swiped through the first target dummy and then the second one almost making it towards the mark. The boy didn't seem to pleased as he tried again with such inspiring dedication. The boy then suddenly dropped his zanpakuto as he finalized his stuff then fell on the ground on his butt in exhaustion.

Kurama tilted his head a bit, this student amazed him with his enthusiasm, but he was a bit curious as to why he had stopped. I mean the boy had spunk and the determination, but he seemed to have been needing a little push. “Your very good.” Kurama complimented the boy with a kind smile. “And you have a very high reitsu as well.”
