» Personality: Cho Zi is an old man with one arm, and can sometimes be grumpy because of that. This is no serious emotional distress or deep-seated negativity, rendering it somewhat immune to the Resolve Flame. It is instead just an old man wishing to be grumpy for the day, feeling he has earned the right to be grumpy over his long life.

In the days when he is not grumpy however, he has the demeanour of a teacher, one who is patient with his student, and always on hand to rectify mistakes and beam with pride at successes. He has a strong sense of honor, and will always repay deeds and misdeeds, the source of his current employment. He is a social man, if only because he never turns down free food, and is always ready to tell tales of his life. Anyone who spends enough time around him will notice the contradictory nature of these tales as one conflicts with the other, but Cho will not acknowledge this if it is brought up.



» History: Long, Sordid, And none of your business. What matters is modern history. A few years ago, Cho Zi rescued and healed a wounded Mirja, who in turn took it upon herself to rescue his kidnapped daughter from the Cannanites. With this done, Cho Zi decided to move his family to a safer place, and they immigrated to Karakura Town. But when Minatumi Harbor was being raised up from the ground, a new woman came to visit him.

It was a strange woman, but certainly familiar, and Cho felt the words of truth in her story about her reincarnation, and so accepted the offer to work in her town as the Doctor, added to the fact that he could bring as many family members as he desired. His daughter had been agitated and active since the rescue, and his aging bones could not keep up with her, so he hoped there would be someone in Minatumi Harbor that could.



» Powers:

Nabong Needle Ryu: Cho Zi's powers had him destined for medicine from the start. With the use of acupuncture and medical massages, he may coax spiritual the energy out of a person and use it to heal their wounds. It is an involved process taking a few hours to accomplish, and so it is not something that can at all be used on a battlefield, but it helps recover from wounds at a very quick pace.

He also has sixty years worth of mundane medical experience, able to diagnose and prescribe medicines for many illnesses and more minor wounds, as well as deal in many herbal remedies to help keep a person fit and active. In this, he keeps the harbour healthy and even teaches his arts to a few youngsters, so that he might have someone to pass onto when he is finished with life.
